The story of this video: apparently a bunch of people who work at a company that includes College Humor, Busted Tees and Vimeo decided to do a lipsync video for Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger... in a single take one night. It is amazing work.
I envy every person who gets to work in a place like that.

That was great.
The girl singing at the start was cute.
I wonder how long it will take RIAA to come knocking at their door...
Riaa: "Excuse me, did you pay for that song you're lip-syncing to?"
That was fantastic!
Once upon a time I worked in an office that had that kind of gumption - it was at my current employer, but my current employer now has an anti-gumption policy.
Good times..
There's a very funny parody of this video, too:

Plus, it has more hotties.
Semaj: They are prickish enough to do that, though part of me thinks that it is going to go viral, so it will be hard to kill entirely.
Paul: The Ceeb allowed gumption at one time? I don't believe it. And great parody too. It is a wonderful find.
That was fabulous! It must be great to work with so many peers of the same age in such a place where you can goof off as a group like that!
*SIGH*
At least it's not Tuesday...
YET.
One of the places I worked at last year could have become that utopia if they would have lasted.
*sigh*
Wow, this brought back memories.
During the end of the dot-com era I worked in a place like this. Hell, we even had Crackhead Bob and Beetlejuice in one day when we pitched howardstern.com.
I cant tell you how many conference calls I did on Fridays with a beer in hand at 1:00.
I even sang karaoke, drunk off my ass, with the managing director -- "Ebony and Ivory."
Sigh, good ol days.
I remember booze early on Friday... damn....
This should be a segment on The Office... Michael sees someone watching the video online, and decides Dunder-Mifflin is going to do an internet lipsynch. Except he insists on choosing the song, some power ballad that nobody likes... nobody wants to do it.. the film crew camera tapes it all in one shot... Man, that'd be awesome.
I was thinking it would be some weepy love song a la Midler or Dion... Or Kenny Loggins... that seems like his bag.
That was awesome. Not only do I envy them for working in such a cool work environment, I also envy the girls who get to work with all those cute geekish guys.
Good to see you again Wendy.
