I really enjoyed Julie Taymor's adaptation of Titus (which I think puts me in the minority), and I really look forward to seeing what she does with this play.

I didn't even know this was coming out until a few days ago, but wow, I have to see this.

I must admit I positively didn't like TITUS (I by the way adore movies and especially adaptations which are visually creative and crazy in the directorial vision e.g. Branaghs' HAMLET). I just found Tamor's direction cold and visionless, quite chaotic. But I do expect THE TEMPEST to be better because the cast is super charming and plus the plot is easier than in TITUS.
Yeah... Titus is a tough one indeed. I think part of the reason I was so taken with it was because Laura Fraser was in it.
