Why will Jay Leno's new talk show fail?

Because it is on NBC Mondays at 10.

*rimshot*

History has proven me right time and time again.

I don't care how much money they are putting into this thing... it will be a ratings disappointment, just you watch (or don't watch, which is what I am predicting).

That is a horrible time for a show like that! (Maybe any show!)
I think you're correct on this one!

I am wondering if there are going to be censorship issues with the show airing that early.

You guys are failing to mention that Jay Leno is a talentless hack who has ripped most of his ideas from the "King of All Media" Howard Stern.

Howard was doing identical man-on-the-street styled interviews years before Leno introduced his lame Jay Walking segment.

Not to mention, Leno stealing Stern's staffer Stuttering John Melendez by hiring him as announcer. I don't know about you, but I damn sure wouldn't hire a stutterer as my announcer unless I welcomed the mockery.

In summation, Leno's new show will feel and he will ride off into the sunset and retire, while kicking himself in the chin (pun intended) knowing that he gave up a sure-fire time slot to Conan, who's star will rise in Leno's wake.

Unfortunately, even though Jay is a nice guy, and good as Johnny's replacement, nobody can make it at 10pm 5 nights a week, it's simply impossible. I give him 90 days tops, and then I guess he retires. It wouldn't make any difference who took that slot, I'm amazed that a guy as smart as Jay would even try it. I wish him the best, maybe I'll see him more at the Cantina, or on bike rides once his new show bites the dust, poor Jay.
