Jerry Seinfeld, Award Shows and Writers

I am sure you have all heard by now that the Golden Globes ceremonies have been cancelled because of the Writers' Strike... and I knew I was going to have to say something about it, but I didn't know what.

And then I saw a particular video, and well, it just seemed so perfect. It summed up the whole hubbub over this awards season.

So I present to you, Jerry Seinfeld accepting an award while he simultaneously bashes all award shows. It is a work of art, and absolutely fitting for the current situation. The fact that he said these things over a year ago is stunning.

Good show Jerry, good show.
