Perhaps the critic actually wrote that it was the "loudest and not in a good way, most incomprehensible and shot all shaky/crappy movie of the year" and his editor simply chopped it down to the pullquote.
Well, just the fact that a movie based on a cartoon that already had a movie out 2 decades ago being called the most original movie this year... it is so wrong on so many levels.
I totally concur. That ad is moronic to me. Just because the teeny boppers don't know who Transformers are, doesn't mean the rest of us have suddenly contracted Alzheimer's disease.
