The Tenant in Room 113: Scooter McGavin's 9th Green

I am pleased to present Culture Kills' new tenant, Scooter McGavin's 9th Green. ScooterKSU was persistant, and that is an admirable quality (and in every introduction for his blog, you probably hear that too).

Scooter has an interesting twist on the Homeland Security terror level scheme.... he use the system as his reviewing scale. The colors are associated with the terror you should feel at missing the show, album etc, with red being don't miss and green being boring.

While the two of us may have differing tastes in music and television, I do have to respect his commitment to reviewing a lot of different media day in and day out.

The movie that is his namesake, Happy Gilmore, is of course reviewed, as is one of my own favorite games, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, along with box sets, for instance, the second season of Chappelle's Show. A rather full listing of his reviews is available here.

He also analyzed the nomination process of the Emmys and came up with a few ways it could be improved. Or his punchy evaluation of how Fox was treating Arrested Development near the end of its run in the entry titled George Bush Doesn't Care About Black Puppets.

He love Veronica Mars, so he was secretly rooting for How I Met Your Mother to fail, so some of the actresses on the series would appear more often in Neptune.

And in the center of this rental period there is another one of his monthly quizzes (link pending), so why don't you check it out?

Thanks for the kind words and for letting me spend the week here. I especially thank you for taking the time to go deep in my archives for the write up.

Mr. Fab: Yes, it is a great big ole allusion ;)

Scooter: That's what I do... and that's what I tell you I am going to do for the credits too ;)
