And try as I might, I just can't get rid of that ad at the bottom. Every time I do, the layout on individual entries gets messed up. I am investigating a workaround.
In the meantime, my efforts to categorize are moving along smoothly, so expect some results by the end of the week, though I am not using the new tag/category system that blogger is trying to introduce because I would have to do something before I could use it, and that would require totally scrapping this template, which is something I am not willing to do at this time.

See, I am getting torn now, because I wonder if I wait a little bit, if the categories functionality will extend to me soon too without needing to take on a simplified template. I am sure it only requires a bit of extra coding after everything else is shored up, so I may wait and see what happens.
In the meantime, I have an excel file that has the titles, dates and urls for all my entries along with a list of numbered columns that have yes/no conditions on them, each standing for a particular category so that I can just go down the list and figure out where things go when I get down to it.
I tried to join the Beta - it launced when I was on vacation - and it wouldn't let me. Is the social bookmarking tags at the bottom of your posts from that or have you found a tool that works with Blogger?
I found it on one of the blogger hack websites, and I can send you the info if you want it... the digg one needs a little more work(and I know where to look for it), so that one is probably going to change a little bit tonight.
