James Bond 23 Cancelled?

The next James Bond movie was quietly moved from being a delayed project to a cancelled project this week.

Now, knowing that the project is basically gone for the moment, and not merely put off for a year or so, makes me a little sad. I was hoping the unpleasant economic circumstances behind this whole saga would have eased by now and that there would have been a light at the end of the tunnel. Alas, it seems that is not to be.

There is also talk that if the next James Bond movie does not arrive for a few years, the producers may recast the part when the series returns.

My question to everyone is, if Daniel Craig was no longer James Bond, who would you like to see replace him in the role?

There is no other James Bond for me. In fact, if they recast him, I will go out of my way to NOT see said movie. Daniel Craig is by far the sexiest and most compelling Bond. I love Connery, but I wasn't even FOND of BOND before Craig. In fact, Mr. Craig is high up on my top tier of MOST DOABLE MENZ. As a lady that was fairly unimpressed by anything Bond prior to Craig---in fact I know many ladies who feel the same way, allow me to emphasize that this displeases the Vagina Crew.

Christopher Eccleston. I don't know why, I just think it would be cool.

Daskaea: I think I loved that comment so much, I want to stalk it.

Glenn: Part of me thinks he would bail early on that though.

That is an interesting choice... though he is probably too young.
