Lot of people won't shut up about it. But you can write, so it's cool...
Now there is a rumor that Leno is thinking about quitting too? I'll believe that when I see it, but it is floating out there.
Who'dathunkit? A talk show host with integrity! I hope Leno quits. He's muddied up the whole situation for the last 15 years. The network loves him because, sadly, the larger of the late night TV viewing folks are morons. Letterman, Conan, and Ferguson all are edgy and timely, and could run circles around Leno.
There should be a steel cage match with them all in there, going joke for joke, until there's one man standing.
Jay isn't going to quit. He has wanted the show back ever since he left and he has never stopped trying to move, suggest and outright push his way back into it. Remember, no one forces you to sign a new contract for a show.
