So I got tagged and bagged

Tabz tagged me, and as such I must follow this trend ONCE. I am spraying myself with anti-tagging spray(which smells like TAG deodorant, but that is beside the point) so that this never happens again. I am also taking precautions to make sure that as few people in the wild get hit by this, so you can thank me later for that.

SO, onto the dirty details I guess:

Five things in my refrigerator:
1. Jello-soaked pound cake
2. 2 cases of Coca-Cola
3. a quarter tray of chicken lasagna
4. A coconut creme pie
5. Freshly cut strawberries

Five things in my closet:
1. a box of really bad poetry books
2. 2 bottles of cheap champagne
3. 3 games systems
4. a Radiation suit costume
5. A Book of Mormon given to me by a Sister Wendy after I told her I was a reverend(which I am, with the Universal Life Church, and we all know that means so much)

Five things in my handbag (messenger bag/backpack/briefcase):
1. If you are feeling Sinister by Belle and Sebastian
2. A Sony Discman
3. Girlfriend in a Coma by Douglas Coupland
4. an old copy of Wired Magazine
5. A spiral-bound notebook

Five things on my bookcase:

1. Norton Anthology of Poetry-1972
2. Fresh Styles by Curt Cloninger
3. The Collected Short Stories of O. Henry
4. Monsterous Regiment by Terry Pratchett
5. My folder full of rejection letters and submission guidelines.

Five people to tag:
1. The less
2. you know
3. about who
4. I tagged
5. the better

For those of you who see me often at your blogs, I did not tag you for a good reason. I didn't want you to hate me. Do you know me any better? Perhaps a little. Are you relieved I didn't tag you? More than likely.

Yours is a more exciting list than mine is gonna be...

Jen: My mother used to make trifle when I was a kid, and at the bottom of it, she would slice raspberry swiss rolls or pound cake and pour strawberry jello over it and then let it set. When you do it right, it is a wonderful base for strawberry shortcake as well.

Wendy: Feel free. Choosing to do it is far different than feeling obligated to do so. :)

Mr. Fab: I doubt that. I am sure there are quite a few skeletons in your closet.

Your diet sounds...well, sugary.

I love Belle & Sebastian!

Well, when taken out of context yes it does sound really sugary. Saying that in addition to those above mentioned items I have a bowl of boiled potatoes, two greek salads and leftover penne in classico sauce seems a little more mundane.

It may turn out we have similar tastes in music ms. prince... time will tell won't it. ;)

At first, I thought the title to this post was "So I got tea bagged." It is so hot in our apartment tonight, my brain has gone wonky.

Anyway, thanks for the blogroll add. I'm excited to be on the team. I'm very excited about a weekly Lebowski fix. Glad you are too.

Brandon, if I got tea bagged, I don't think I'd be blogging about it ;) I guess that's what you get when you find a stranger in the alps.

I was carrying around "Hey Nostradamus" last week. Have you read it? If not, I recommend it.

I look forward to picking it up. I just reread Miss Wyoming a few weeks back, so I think I could really get into that as well.
